OCT.2018 Newbold School – Planning Approval
JAIA Architects are pleased to announce that a full planning permission has been granted for the proposed works at Newbold School in Berkshire. The proposed design has been developed in response to the client’s brief and to minimise the impact on the neighbouring Grade II listed House and gardens within the site of Newbold College. The client’s brief was to reconfigure the existing classrooms to allow for further growth within the school, design a welcoming new lobby and staff rooms and a brand new nursery block which will replace the existing nursery that is currently situated within the main school and can make it difficult to offer an educational environment that suits the different ages. The proposed scheme has been well received by the client and work is expected to commence in the near future to firmly put Newbold School on the educational radar.
