This newly purchased Edwardian semi-detached house located within West Putney Conservation Area needed a full refurbishment and JAIA Architects have been instructed to provide a full service from a Full planning application, Detail Design, Tendering, Inspection to Contract Administration for the extensive works to transform the house.
The client wanted to obtain a greater amount of living space on the ground floor and media room and home office on second floor. This was achieved by demolishing the existing conservatory, erecting a single storey rear extension to create an open plan on the ground floor and also creating two dormer windows to the roof to accommodate a media room, office and a bathroom. An additional summer house/gym to the back garden also added a value to the house.
