APR. 2012 JAIA’s project in Richmond is coming out of the ground
Following planning and tender stages, JAIA is happy to announce that the project for 9 apartments at 2 Seymour Road is coming out of the ground. The site is in the picturesque and desirable residential location of Hampton Wick Conservation Area in Richmond. JAIA are appointed Architect and Contract Administrator for the construction phase of the project together with responsibility for checking and certifying contractor’s monthly interim valuations. Together with Woodland Construction Ltd, the main contractor and Buxton Associates structural engineers, we are progressing the works. The remains of an old well was uncovered during excavation; there was a period of anxiety about the find; eventually the local authority inspected the find, determined it was of no archaeological interest and permitted work to continue. We will keep you posted of developments on site.
