AUG.2017 15 Orchard Rise Completion
November 2016 – August 2017 15 Orchard Rise has been completed in August with a successful handover to the client. The original house was in a terrible state of internal disarray from lack of maintenance and did not fit for modern family living house and used to suffer from its bad insulation to the external wall in winter. JAIA Architects have been appointed by a prestigious client to re-design this early 1930’s suburban property in Kingston and successfully transformed it to a pleasant family living house with a tight budget and schedule. On top of dry linings with heavy insulation to all around the external walls, converting an integrated garage into a kitchen and opening up the wall between the breakfast area and dining area enhanced the house into entirely different state.
