Catapult Urban Toy

An object (catapult) that created events in order to connect remoted spaces. Urban Toy was a part of researches to design a Performance space. In fact, the site for this project hinted at the way of designing urban toy because of the remoted small spaces within it. This device is playful so a player easily engage others. It is also informative to design space. The notion of play and making model were applied onto designing performance space at the end of this project.
Every single parts (except spring) were carefully crafted by operating machines. The maximum distance the toy can throw an small object is about 10m.
