
Joint Architectural Intelligence Associates
The collective thinking of JAIA architects draws upon experience from their own career, studies and experiments for JAIA’s unique Joint Architectural Intelligence. Joint Architectural Intelligence recognise individual projects, research works and creative approaches as valuable intellectual assets to be reused for either repetitive or hybrid approach. Having collated highly professional intelligence over the last 20 years of JAIA members expert experiences, JAIA persist to be a unique architectural practice crossing over the boundaries. In architectural projects, JAIA provides a platform in which developers, funders, contractors and other consultants will operate together like an integrated project team to deliver a greater quality of architecture with a viable financial structure to the end users. The intelligence that JAIA collates gets fed into this platform and gives greater potential to all our partners.
As a chartered architect of RIBA (The Royal Institute of British Architects), Jai Hyuk Lee is the principal director of JAIA. He has previously worked for KPF, Llewelyn Davies Yeang and PCKO in London. His 25 years professional experience includes Residential, Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Leisure, Mixed Use Development, Master-plan and Urban Planning, from early stage design to completion.
Before joining JAIA, Seung Hoon had spent more than 10 years working on luxury residential projects in London’s most prestigious areas and was responsible for award winning large scale residential projects. His strengths lie in the management of large complex developments from concept to detailed design. With expertise in BIM design process, he heads up BIM implementation in JAIA.
A chartered architect with experience of commercial, public sector and residential building in the UK and Middle East, Adam has particular communication and planning skills which emphasise his concept and detailed design abilities. He has worked on both small and large complex commissions prior to joining JAIA; of note on large bank and office headquarters in the Middle East and housing development and school design in the UK. This broad and varied experience allows him to respond well to client briefs of any shape or size.
As an interior designer at JAIA, Justyna has both interior and architectural background in her career. She holds a Master’s degree in Architecture (RIBA part II) from Technical University in Cracow, and as a part of her education she studied also in Spain at Universitat Politecnica de Valencia. Her professional experience includes interior and architectural design in residential, retail and restaurants projects in Poland and UK from initial concept to completion.
Kristijan holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture (RIBA Part II Equivalent). His master’s project was part of an exhibition at the ‘Trienal de Arquitectura de lisboa’ in Lisbon, Portugal, 2013. Before joining JAIA he already had an international experience, working on a various commercial but mainly residential projects, from small housing extensions to big housing developments. He pays special attention to the early concepts and the further developed detailed designs in projects.
Jooyoung has joined JAIA as an architectural assistant part 1 in 2017. She graduated from Bartlett school of Architecture (ARB/RIBA Part I), where she has driven a wide range of different projects that deals with strong simple concepts in design whilst working with the buildings relationship to context. She is an enthusiastic asset to the company who is ample with her ability to use CAD, BIMs and other softwares.
SMS (Strategic Map Scanning) is the most unique JAIA R&D product which identifies various property development potentials and produce powerful reports for those seeking for development intelligence. As a JAIA SMS Manager, Taeho develops and produces SMS reports for property developments in UK and Korea. Now he is standing a unique position based on his BIM(Building Information Modelling)/GIS(Geographic Information Systems) capacities at JAIA.
